Description

I got this box set of the stereo version of the complete nine symphonies of Beethoven when I worked at a radio station in the 60s. The set is from 1965 and contains seven LPs and a booklet.

These were demo discs that apparently were rarely if ever used judging by the condition of the center hole (they look like a turntable spindle was never inserted) and the condition of the vinyl. If you want photos of the vinyl or close-ups of the center holes, please ask! The cover is in excellent shape with a few minor scuffs and fraying here and there; and some feint dark spots. The booklet is immaculate—probably never ever taken out until now. The discs do have a “demo” sticker on them. The sleeves are paper and not poly vinyl.

Because of the “demo” stickers on the label and the paper sleeves, this set is priced accordingly.
