Description

Decca SXL 2010, UK Stereo, Wide Band/ Groove, "Original Recording By...', at 10 O'Clock. Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 in G Major, Opus 58. Wilhelm Backhaus, with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt. A nice, NM example of this very collectable, early SXL LP, with the minimum of play, and a nice sheen! A slightly later pressing (2GR/5GR), still with 'Original Recording By...' labels, with flipback sleeve (not blue back), and with 'non-Gothic' lettering on front! Tidy VG sleeve, with some 'air pockets' under laminate! Clean back cover. This LP has not been cleaned or polished, or otherwise tampered with!
