Beethoven • Bayerisches Staatsorchester - Carlos Kleiber - "Symphonien No. 4 - 6 - 7 " Vinyl 3LP

Please note this vinyl is new & unplayed but the sleeve shows some very slight marking/damage (please see photos).

The recording of Beethoven's Fourth presented here was recorded live in May 1982. Reviewing the concert, Joachim Kaiser remarked "The broad outline, the festive tone, the unerring tempo were always present... An unforgettable Fourth". Kleiber conducted Beethoven's Pastoral Symphony only once in his career, performing it with the Bavarian State Orchestra on 7 November 1983, as recorded here.
