Beethoven Cello Sonata 3 Zara Nelsova UK Decca LXT
Cellist Zara Nelsova, and Artur Balsam performs Beethoven "Cello Sonata No. 3" and the "Judas Maccabaeus" and "Die Zauberflote" Variations. An English mono pressing on the Decca Label (LXT 5268 Stampers 3E/3E), the labels are orange with silver lettering and this is a "pancake" pressing. The record has some greyish rub marks and is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with fairly consistent low level surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring.
