Description

Beethoven Choral Symphony Furtwangler HMV R/G ED1 ALP 1286/7 UK Rare 2xLP
*From the large collection of an esteemed musicologist and audiophile who spent some time working for EMI.
UK 1st pressing on the HMV Red and Gold Label.
Visually under bright light the vinyl has lots of light play scuffs and traces, there are also a couple of small marks. The records have been cleaned on an Okki Nokki machine and the audio plays ok with some ticks and clicks here and there, a couple of the small marks cause some short periods of repeating pops, but there are NO major flaws. Remains a generally enjoyable audio experience VG
Labels are clean some spindle traces VG+
The sleeves have lots of wear - tape residue wear to the laminate and flip-back damage etc. see photos F+
*Strict grading based on the outset standards of the Rare Record Price Guide.
