"For several years manufacturers of record changers and turntables have been including a fourth speed to go with the well known speeds of 78, 45,and 33 rpm. This speed is 16/2-3 rpm. VOX thought that this was an opportunity to give the music lover more for his money. The question then was 'Would the quality be up to the VOX standard'? The answer: Yes. After a year of experimentation and development by Dr. Rudolph van Gelder, VOX proudly produced the first classical record to contain up to two hours of music – one of the longest record in history”.

"This record is compatible with equipment having the fourth speed of 16-2/3 rpm. No additional equipment of any kind is needed. As with all other VOX records, the recording equalization is RIAA".
