Description

For sale, this very collectible and rare leather-bound set from 1977 of Beethoven Symphonies, conducted by Herbert Von Karajan and individually numbered. 2000 were produced for the UK market - this is number 1013, signed by Karajan. Set has 8LPs, the autographed card with the number, and an interview LP, one side in English, the other in German. I have visually inspected the LPs and they look immaculate. The plastic cover has a lot of wear and has been sellotaped together (it is very unusual to get this cover at all). There is some faint marking on the card and leather box but otherwise it is in excellent condition, as can be seen from the photos.
The postage cost listed is for mainland UK only- if you are an overseas bidder, please contact me before placing a bid so I can work out the postage for you.
I have only ever seen one of these for sale anywhere before. The starting price reflects its rarity, but there is no reserve.
