Beethoven Piano Concerto 3 Annie Fischer DGG SLPM 138 087
Annie Fischer with the Bavarian State Orchestra conducted by Ferenc Fricsay performs the Beethoven “Piano Concerto” No. 3, plus 2 Mozart “Rondos” K382 and 386. A very rare German stereo pressing on the Deutsche Grammophon Label (SLPM 138 087), the labels have a tulip border and logo, with “alle hersteller” at 2 o’clock and this is a pancake pressing. The record has a couple of tiny marks on side two that click for about 20 or so revolutions and later for about 10, and is otherwise of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed with a ring and creases.
