This is a rare Recut Records vinyl pressing of Ludwig van Beethoven's "Piano Concerto No1 & Choral Fantasia" as performed by The London Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, with Julius Katchen on piano and Conducted by Pierino Gamba. Recut Records released a small series of "original recordings of great performances" produced in the UK and distributed in the US by Linn & Audiophile Systems. I purchased this record new and it is part of my personal collection. The record has rarely been played and is in great condition, with the only play being on "high-end" turntables (Linn or Rega). The surface of the record is clean, but the cover does show very slight wear from use & storage over time. This record has been stored at my home in a climate controlled, smoke-free environment since I purchased it new. You'll have a diffucult time finding a 30 year old record in better shape.
