Lucien Capet's Capet String Quartet play Beethoven String Quartet C # minor op 131 on 5 records of 10 sides 78 rpm shellac. Superb sound and ensemble. Made in Emngland on Columbia records on best quality shellac. This is a Beethoven recording yielding something of the highest order in chamber music. There is a concentration, dare I say quiet intensity, in this performance on records which surpasses all other excellent recordings of the Busch quartet etc.  The sound recovered with 0.002 stylus is stunning.
