Description

I could buy the following records from a collector who stored them for a long time.

I have played the records completely or partial on my EMT 930 with a Shellac cartridge.

Beethoven

Quatuor en ut Dièze Mineur No.14, op.131

The Capet String Quartet of Paris

Columbia  L2283-87,  / 12" orig. blue-gold "made in England" edition  * 5 records *

No scratches; not often played..

Album is in beautiful condition.

Rare complete album.

Record: E+

Album: E+

My grading for shellac records is as follows:

E

Excellent (with a + or - to be more precise)

This records are in very good sonical and optical condition.

Very low background noise.

Only mild superficial marks and mild soft-ticks

VG

Very Good (with a + or - to be more precise )

Mild audible scratches possible but no skips.

Not disturbing small bubbles causing slightly "plopps"

Still a good and enjoyable record

F

Fair

Usually I don't sell such records; only very rare documents of time (maybe records with Joseph Joachim or similar)
