Beethoven Symphony 5 Cluytens Original UK HMV ASD 267
Rare Original UK Cream and Gold Label HMV
The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Paul Kletzki performs Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5” and “Leonore Overture No. 3”. An original English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 267), the labels are cream with a gold border and stereophonic, plum lettering and a small shaded dog. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with low-level surface noise and about five clicks near the start of the Leonore. The cover has rubbed a little.
