Description
Original UK Vertigo spiral label stereo first press,with the earliest 1Y/1 2Y/1 matrices and earliest 1-1-1 stampers of the very first pressings!
The Howards Printers matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light storage rubbing and some corner/edge wear on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the spiral inner is intact and in VG+ condition. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with quite a few faint hairlines and light needle marks/scuffs visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings! The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter passages and overall still a really great loud and punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; 6360018, 1Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-, 2Y//1-420 stamper 1-1-1. This is one of the very earliest copies of the 1st press of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
