Description
This is the record I swore I would never sell... the first pressing of Belle and Sebastian's Tigermilk LP. Released on Electric Honey records in 1996.
You know the story.....Stuart Murdoch and Stuart David met on a government-training scheme and recorded some demos, which were picked up by someone on a music business course.
The course produces and releases one record every year on the college label Electric Honey Records. And this was that year's release.
Only 1000 copies were made, making this the "must have" collector's item for any B&S fan. Put simply, this is rare and hard to find, particularly in the state this one is in (practically unplayed).
I bought the record from an independent record store in London in the week that it was released. It's been played three or four times (it was quickly recorded onto cassette and filed away in a vinyl protective sleeve). So both sleeve and record can be described as mint - there are no surface marks and it plays perfectly.
