This is a really reluctant sale but I've got to that need the money stage alas. As most fans are aware this was one of 1000 pressings, so super rare and doesn't come up often any more given it was released nearly 10 years ago. Well, despite my ordering it direct from Ben Howard's site and owning it from new, a lot has happened since then....I now have children who do not appreciate vinyl at all. It seems safer to put it into the hands of a collector.
I know the price is high but I welcome people to make offers. The only comparable on eBay currently is a CD version for the same price. If anything the buy it now price is there because actually I don't want to let it go. It is such a thing of beauty. I love Burgh Island (the place), so this is a super special piece to me and I feel it is one of Ben's most significant collections.
Obviously the record sleeve is open. I don't believe in that "keep it sealed" thing. I'm a music fan and I listened to it, but I'll add I only listened to the record a handful times on vinyl and mainly listened to the mp3s in order to keep the record in good condition and save it for special moments. I will leave the download card in there as a memento, but it was used and has since expired.
Delivery will be via special delivery to ensure it is covered for damage. As far as I can see the vinyl itself looks good and the sleeve is in good condition. I've kept it on a shelf and in a plastic protective sleeve most of its existence, so there is minimal wear.
