UP FOR BID HERE IS AN OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL FIRST-PRESSING IMPORT LP OF BENNIE BAILEY’S GROUNDBREAKING FREE JAZZ ROCK FUSION ALBUM “ISLANDS” FEATURING BAILEY ON TRUMPET, EBERHARD WEBER ON BASS, SIGGI SCHWAB ON GUITAR AND LALA KOVACEV ON DRUMS. THIS ALBUM WAS A PIONEERING WORK BY BAILEY, A HARD-BOP TRUMPETER FROM DETROIT, AND SOME OF EUROPE’S MOST INTERESTING FREE JAZZ FUSION MUSICIANS. THIS RECORD IS AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC, AND IT’S EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!
THIS LP LOOKS ALMOST BRAND NEW, DESPITE BEING OVER30 YEARS OLD. THE SLEEVE IS CLOSE TO FLAWLESS. SHINY AND NEW LIKE THE DAY IT CAME OUT OF THE FACTORY IN WEST GERMANY. THE VINYL LOOKS UNPLAYED. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL COPY. YOU’LL NEVER FIND ONE IN BETTER CONDITION!

COVER: VG++ (The cover is in exceptional condition, shiny and pristine. There are some small, light creases in a few places around the edges on the front and back cover, but they are barely visible. There is also the tiniest bit of ring wear starting and some wear to the glossy laminate in a small section of the back cover. All that said, the wear is extremely minor, and the cover image, corners, spine and edges are all in great shape. This is an exceptional copy of a very rare record. See photos.)
VINYL: NM- (The vinyl is shiny and pristine, with no visible scuffs or scratches at all. Like new. Looks unplayed. Really exceptional copy.)
NOTE: I have carefully visually graded each record under a bright light using conservative standards. In this case, I play graded the record, though I didn’t listen to every track all the way through.
