Mega Rare LP of Benny Golson - New York Scene (Contemporary C-3552/OJC-164 - mono) Vintage 1970s/80s OJC edition - NOT a current re-issue! Ealry Golson LP features the tenor saxophonist along with Wynton Kelly, Art Farmer, Sahib Shihab, Gigi Gryce Paul Chambers and others in an extremely rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in Mint/Near Mint condition with basically no marks to report and likely all of the original shine - remarkable after almost fifty-five years. The cover is strong VG+ condition with light general age/shelf wear, a bit of writing on both the front and back as wells an original rubber stamp on the back liner. NO splits, NO tape. If you can find a better copy, just buy it.
