1* "SING, SING, SING".(Parts 1 & 2).this one disc is worth this auction! for the players alone !!
Realeased in 1938 on the "Victor" label #25796.
Written by a young "Louis Prima" who is introduced on this disc as "Christopher Columbus", the recording also features "Harry James" and "Ziggy Elman"in the trumpet section and Gene Krupa on drums.
NOTE* This recording was made shortly after Goodman's appearance at Carnegie Hall (One of the first Non-Classical concerts at Carnegie) where he introduced "Sing Sing Sing" to the New York Fans......It went on to be 1 of his signature Hit Records and a Top seller !
This is a MUST HAVE for anyone interested in collecting original 78RPM Swing Classics.-condition-VG+
