Description
Artist: Benny Johnson
Title: Visions of Paradise
Label: Today (original issue)
Year: 1973
Condition: Vg+/Vg+ (I grade conservatively on this record due to the rarity).
Description: This is the original issue of the super rare soul classic in high demand. The record plays through quite well (listen to the sample tracks in the listing) with little surface noise. There are a few small surface scratches that are seen only on close inspection. The record looks beautiful. The record sleeve has some corner wear as well as a little seam splitting on the lower seam. There are also two creases across the bottom right hand corner of the sleeve. All in all a rare and beautiful record; don’t let this one pass you by! As always, ask any questions you may have.

About me and my sales: I am a record collector that just bought a huge collection of 45s and LPs (about 5000 records total). I collect mostly Soul, Funk, and Jazz and took what I wanted from those genres. Everything else I’ll be listing on ebay or selling elsewhere. I’m not looking to get rich, just make back a little of what I spent. So if rock, teen, psych, etc. is your thing, then take a look at my other auctions. Being a collector and not a dealer, I’m not a professional at grading records, but I’ll do my best.
Your best bet is to listen to a recording of the LP below. The record was recorded onto my hard drive with a Numark PT-01 portable turntable and has not been augmented or tampered with in any way. What you hear is what you get. I feel like a good recording of the record is better and more honest than any grading I can give it, so please give it a listen.
I’m not averse to shipping overseas or combining on shipping and I’ll do my best to give you the best deal on shipping without compromising the integrity of the record(s). I’d recommend insurance on the more valuable of these records based on past experience.
1-3 LPs in the US is $5 USPS Priority mail or $3 media mail
(insurance up to $150, add $2)
1 LP overseas, send me a message and I’ll get back to you.
I’m open to any questions or comments, let me know. Otherwise happy bidding and I hope you like what you see. Good luck.
The three tracks below are tracks one and three from side A and track one from side B. Just a random pick of songs on either side. Thanks.
