Berlioz Harold in Italy Davis Original UK HMV ASD 537
Yehudi Menuhin with the Philharmonia Orchestra is conducted by Colin Davis performs Berlioz’s “Harold in Italy”. An original English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 537), the labels are cream with a gold border and stereophonic, plum lettering and a small shaded dog. The record has a few minor surface scuffs on side two that do not appear to sound and it is of otherwise of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little with a slight ring.
