Description
Jean Martinon conducts the Paris Conservatore Orchestra in stunning performances of the Overtures “Le Carnival Romain”, Benvenuto Cellini”, Beatrice and Benedict”, “Le Corsaire”, and the Hungarian March from Faust. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2134 stampers 1K/1K), the labels have a fatband, ffss logo, and “Original recording by…” at 10 o’clock and a groove. Apart from a few scuffs that does not sound, the record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has creases, a ring – most noticeable on the back. Credit card, cash, or Paypal are preferred.
