Description
This is an exceptionally nice example of a 1961 British import stereo album by His Master's Voice (ASD 399) featuring Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique. It is performed by the Orchestra National de la Radiodiffusion Française, conducted by Colin Davis. Album notes are in English, written by David Drew.
The outer sleeve has a gold "EMI Stereophonic Recording" sticker on the front. There are some faint scuff marks visible along the lower edge, just to the left of portrait artist August Prinzhofer's 1845 signature. (See Photo 1) It also has a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back. (Photo 2)
This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
