A stunning 1st press of the classic Bert Jansch & John Renbourn

 Record

Bert And John is the fourth album by Scottish folk musician Bert Jansch, released in 1966. A number of songs are performed with friend and fellow guitarist John Renbourn, who would later join him in the group Pentangle!!

The record and sleeve are in really great condition and the sound is fantastical!!

A genuine 1st press with the A1/B1 matrix on the Transatlantic Records label!

Outer Sleeve

The original 1st fully laminated outer sleeve is in great condition with no rips, tears or writing at all!!  There is only very minimal laminate lift to mention! There is no nasty ring wear and all the colours are as vibrant as they once were.  It still lies nice and flat, and the inside in great condition!  It really is a rarity to find this sleeve in such lovely condition!! Excellent +

Inner Sleeve

The plain white inner sleeve in excellent, showing few signs of its age!  Excellent

Labels

Really nice! No rips, tear or stains.  Under a strong halogen bulb, maybe one minor hairline spindle can be seen, but very minimal.  It’s clear to see this record has hardly been played!  No writing at all!  Nr Mint

Vinyl Visual

The record looks great! It still retains it beautiful lustre and shine!  There are no nasty scratches or evidence of being played!  Under a halogen bulb, some mild hairlines can be seen, but none that can be felt or effect playback!!  Astounding for a record that is over 45 years old!! Excellent

Vinyl Audio

The record plays through beautifully, with not one pop!!  There are no skips, jumps or sticking at all!  There is no warping at all.  A little static between songs, but that’s minor.  A really strong nice sharp audio!! Excellent +

So there we have it, a stunning and super rare 1st UK pressing of the rare and scarce Bert Jansch record!
