Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Play Grade Excellent + to Near Mint (Supremely sharp and clear sound, no serious noticeable audible crackle at all throughout the tracks, very quiet and no serious noticeable background noise in between tracks, very quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no serious loud pops or clicks that are noticeable. Excellent + to Near Mint sound quality (Playtested 7th November 2007)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Excellent + to Near Mint (less than a handful or so of very light superficial hairline marks over both sides of the record, these do not affect playback in any way, both sides of the record are mainly unmarked, a beautifully clean surface, there is not a deep raised scratch in sight of any significance, the record is exceptionally clean and as said before the surface is mainly unmarked, there may be a few tiny hairlines and a few paper scuffs/traces from the inner sleeve under bright light but generally the record is exceptionally clean, looks to have been played very rarely and it has been looked after and cared for extremely well, a supremely clean record, labels are beautiful with no rips/tears to the label, there is no wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the label, wonderful sheen to the record, overall a superb copy visually)

Album Cover Grade: Excellent (some light creasing to the top left front corner and some very minute creasing to the front bottom right corner all other front corners do not have any major creasing at all on them, some light creasing to the rear top left and bottom left corners, all other rear corners do not suffer from any creasing whatsoever, there is no serious spine splitting but there is a slight 1cm bit of noticeable spine rubbing/wear but the spine is still clearly legible and the rest of the spine is ok and suffer from no splits or rubbing, no top edge splits and there is no wear/rubbing to the top edge, no bottom edge splits and there is no wear/rubbing to the bottom edge, only very minimal corner rubbing, no rips or tears in the sleeve, some very slight ringwear on the front and back that is noticeable, there is some writing on the sleeve with the number "26" in small blue biro on the front top right of the laminated sleeve, the sleeve does not suffer from any major laminate lifting or peeling apart from some light lifting 1cm parallel to the spine on the front and back cover, the sleeve is very clean and suffers from no serious discolouration or staining, very sturdy sleeve)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 12 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so. MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
