Description
Big Black - Boxes - VERY RARE Origional Box Set 1992. Touch and Go Records. Cat No. TG111. Contains Vinyl Pigpile 12" LP plus insert, poster, VHS Pigpile video, 5" single, T-Shirt.
Please read my description carefully, I try to be as accurate as possible when describing records. If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Last listing run this year! More items at some point in the new year, have a great Christmas.
Box generally shows minor storage wear BUT does have some creasing near top left front edge. This area is slightly depressed. Unfortunately this is how I bought it in 1992. Please look at the photograph carefully.
LP Sleeve is excellent, mint really as it has only been out of the box to check when bought and now to sell. The LP fits exactly in the box and this has caused a slight ripple to the sleeve. Again originally bought like this. Please look at photograph of edge shot. Insert is flat, clean and undamaged.
Record is un-played. I didn't take it out of the sleeve to photograph it and don't think I took it out after purchasing it. It certainly has not been played. I assume therefore that there are no surface marks and if you chose to play it, it would do so without skips, jumps and surface noise.
Video is still sealed (See photograph) with the 5" record sealed within. Both are therefore mint.
T-Shirt is unopened so I can't actually tell you what the design is. Item is mint (If you can describe a T-shirt as being mint!).
Poster has never been unfolded, so again I can't tell you what it shows, but it is clean and un-ripped.
Don't miss out on your chance to own a real rarity by Big Black.
Postage to UK mainland £4.50. I will post to most of Europe, North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand please e-mail for cost.
Thanks for looking, other records from my collection to follow.
Grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine, as described below.
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
