Big Bopper "Chantilly Lace" vintage LP (+ Valens fill)

I am selling a small collection of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper records.

In this lot is the Big Bopper's first LP, the original issue Mercury black label "Chantilly Lace" mono 12" LP from 1959. Plays great and is in extremely nice condition. I wish I could claim NM because then this would be a $500 C.V. record!

LABEL: Mercury plain black and silver, MG-20402. Mono
RECORD CONDITION: VG+ (light sleeve mars)
COVER CONDITION: VG++ (slight dings to two corners on open end. Very slight tear.
NOTES: Cover art is in exceptionally clean and bright state, like new in fact. Back side has Big Bopper photo in the "bopper" suit.

As a bonus I am including a Ritchie Valens Del-Fi 1201 original issue LP, which unfortunately lacks a cover, plus a Del-Fi 1206 album cover that lacks an LP. Sorry, but that’s what happened.

ALBUM: "Ritchie Valens." The songs on side 1 are That’s my little Suzie; In a Turkish Town; Come on, Let’s Go; Donna; Boney-Maronie; and Ohh, My Head. On side 2 are: La Bamba; Bluebirds over the Mountain; Hi-Tone; Framed; We Belong Together; and Dooby-Dooby-Wah.
LABEL: Del-Fi DFLP 1201. Light blue with black “Del-Fi” lettering and aqua circles on black in surround. Mono.
RECORD CONDITION: Plays VG, still very listenable, but it does present a lot of surface scratches. Consider it a conservative VG- - .
COVER: No album cover to offer for the above DFLP 1201, but I am able to include the cover from a DFLP 1206 entitled "Ritchie." Great cover picture of Valens. This cover is in lieu of proper cover for the 1201 above br>COVER CONDITION: This DFLP 1206 cover has major seam split on bottom, edge wear all around. The color cover photo is clear and clean. BUT, to repeat, there is no DFLP 1206 LP.
