Description

You are bidding on the rare 78 rpm record:

Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton- Hound Dog / Night Mare, released by Peacock Records (1612) (ACA 2258/60) in 1953 out of Houston, TX.

*Here you have the original 78 of Big Mama Thornton's seminal "Hound Dog", one-hell of a classic record!*

The Record is properly play-graded in V condition.  Both sides play with a very full sound and a fairly minor amount of background surface noise is heard.  Visually, it shows a nice luster and a fair amount of very light surface marks.

The labels look very nice and just show some fairly minor wear.

This comes with a generic sleeve.

Shipping within the U.S. is $4.00 (media) or $7.00 (priority).

Shipping to Canada is $11.00 (1st Class International).

Shipping to anywhere else in the world is $20.00 (1st Class International).

Shipping is calculated at the actual cost for you, the consumer. I don't charge any extra fees for material or handling.

Please bid with confidence.  I am an experienced 78rpm record collector and will ship your records properly and with the utmost care.  Safe delivery to you is guaranteed.

I can combine the shipment of 78s within the U.S.  For this combined shipping, add $1 for each additional 78 purchased.

Insurance is your option as a buyer. International customers, please keep in mind that you can only insure your item if you ship Express, which can be very expensive. Please contact me if you would prefer this option.

Please take a look at my other auctions.  Today I will be listing an incredible batch of rare Doo-Wop, Blues & Rockabilly 78's.  I already have some LP auctions up on ebay, and I'll be listing more LP's later in the week.  My listings are always auctions starting at $4.95, and you'll find that I list some seriously nice, rare records.  Thanks for looking!

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Please communicate with me via ebay messages, not e-mail.
