Description

Outstanding 200 gram vinyl pressing of the amazing 1972 debut album from the band Big Star, #1 Record. Recorded in Memphis at Ardent Studios, Big Star consisted of Alex Chilton, Chris Bell, Jody Stephens, and Andy Hummel on a record that sadly went unnoticed at the time but has now reached near legendary status with its brilliant power pop songs including When My Baby's Beside Me; In the Street; Thirteen; The India Song; The Ballad of El Goodo; Feel etc. This pressing from Classic Records came out in 2009 and is now out of print. This copy is in NM (near mint) condition, for both the vinyl and the album packaging, which includes its original plastic protector with a 200 gram sticker attached.
