Description
This auction is for a really, really nice LP copy of "Radio City" by Big Star. This is the original press on Ardent Records (distributed by Stax) from 1974 (ADS-1501). One of THE classic records of the 1970s, this finds the group (which includes Alex Chilton, Andy Hummel, and Jodey Stephens) at the peak of their songwriting prowess. 12 amazing songs, but you probably already knew that...
Condition: I don't sell a ton of records (but please look at my feedback, I'm a very honest seller), and have done my best to describe any issues with this record based on the vinyl grading and condition rating system. I would grade the sleeve on this one as VG++. There's little to no ringwear on the sleeve, and although the corners have a smidgen of wear (but are still quite sharp), there aren't hard bends in the sleeve (see picture). There's a tiny bit of wear to the opening-side of the sleeve, but it's pretty minor, and this is NOT a cutout. The vinyl itself I would also list as EX or VG++. There are some smudges on the vinyl, but no scratches.
