 Hello.  Up for auction is a vinyl pressing of Radio City by Big Star released by Ardent Records/Stax (ADS-1501) in 1973.
While I'm not 100% sure, I do believe this is an original issue as the vinyl label on Side 1 denotes "O My Soul" as "MONO (All other selections Stereo)".
   The information in the dead wax of the vinyl is the following:
 Side 1  STXS-0740-3  AS-0565  Also etched in the dead wax is an image of a trident.  Further along "--L. NIX--" and "SON" are etched in the dead wax.
 Side 2   STXS-0741-3  AS-0566  Also there is an etching of a planet with a ring around the planet and a star just the right of the planet.  As is "--L. NIX--".

The COVER is VG.  There is no writing, no stickers, or stamps on the cover. The seam of the right hand side is in nice shape, with all the printed text clear and legible.  On the upper right hand corner of the front cover there is a 1/2" split right at the corner (please see photo #3).  In the same area, there is a 31/2" crease running from the top across the word "Star". The upper left hand corner definitely shows some sign of wear (please see photo #4). There is light ring wear on the front and back cover (but the ring wear on the back is very light).
The VINYL is VG+.  The vinyl does reveal some light marks but plays really nice.  On Side 1 there is some scratchy/static-y sound right as the needled meets the vinyl but recedes as the music kicks in.  In general one will probably hear some light surface noise between tracks and during songs that have quieter passages but ultimately I think this records sounds really good.        
I've play graded these LPs in the effort to provide the most fair and accurate description of these records as I can.  Please do keep in mind, however, that different stereo systems may result in some variations in the listening experience.
