Big Star: Sister Lovers - The Third Album: LP, Vinyl, Castle Communications 1987
Big Star was an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1971 by Alex Chilton, Chris Bell, Jody Stephens, and Andy Hummel. The band's musical style drew on the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and the Byrds. Big Star produced a style that foreshadowed alternative rock. Before they broke up, Big Star created a "seminal body of work that never stopped inspiring succeeding generations", in the words of Rolling Stone.
Third (reissued in 1985 as Third/Sister Lovers is the third album by American rock band Big Star. Sessions started at Ardent Studios in September 1974. Though Ardent created promotional, white-label test pressings for the record in 1975, a combination of financial issues, the uncommercial sound of the record, and lack of interest from singer Alex Chilton in continuing the project prevented the album from ever being properly finished or released at the time of its recording.
This is the original Castle Communications release from 1987.

This record has been kept in storage in a smoke free household. It is from a large record collection, not a DJ collection, this record has never been DJed and is in good condition.
There are crackles at the start of the 3rd track, 'Femme Fatale' on Side 1. Halfway through the 4th track 'Holocaust' there are some crackles. On the 5th track, 'Blue Moon' there are a few minor crackles. Then on the 6th track, 'Dream Lover' again there is a minor crackle.
On Side 2, during the 1st track, 'Big Black Car' there are a few crackles.
There is some foxing to the record sleeve, from being in storage.
