William Henry "Bill" Cosby Jr. (born July 12, 1937) is an American comedian, actor, author, television producer, educator, musician and activist. A veteran stand-up performer, he got his start at the hungry i in San Francisco and various other clubs, then landed a starring role in the 1960s action show I Spy. He later starred in his own sitcom, The Bill Cosby Show. He was one of the major performers on the children's television series The Electric Company during its first two seasons, and created the educational cartoon comedy series Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, about a group of young friends growing up in the city. Cosby also acted in a number of films.

Robin McLaurin Williams[3][4] (born July 21, 1951)[5] is an American actor, voice actor, and stand-up comedian. Rising to fame with his role as the alien Mork in the TV series Mork & Mindy, Williams went on to establish a successful career in both stand-up comedy and feature film acting.

Mary Jean "Lily" Tomlin (born September 1, 1939)[1] is an American actress,comedian, writer, and producer. She has been a major force in American comedy since the late 1960s, when she began a career as a stand-up comedian and became a featured performer on television's Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In. Tomlin's career has spanned television, comedy recordings, Broadway, and motion pictures.

Cheech & Chong are a Grammy Award–winning comedy duo consisting of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong who found a wide audience in the 1970s and 1980s for their films and stand-up routines, which were based on the hippie and free love era, and especially drug and counter culture movements, most notably their love for cannabis.

Pat Cooper (born Pasquale Caputo[1] July 31, 1929) is an American actor and comedian. Cooper often makes reference to his Italian heritage in his stand up comedy routines.[2]

Cooper started performing in the 1950s, originally for primarily Italian-American audiences.[2] He has performed at private events for members of the mafia, celebrity roasts at the New York Friars Club[1] and was also a frequent guest on many radio shows, most notably The Howard Stern Show , Imus in the Morning and Opie and Anthony. He played a mobster in the film Analyze This(1999).

Allen & Rossi was a comedy team composed of Marty Allen and Steve Rossi, active from 1957 until 1968. They appeared on over 700 television shows including 44 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show, including three of the four Ed Sullivan episodes on which The Beatles appeared. They recorded 16 comedy albums, the title of one using their signature comedy catch phrase of "Hello Dere!"

Homer and Jethro were the stage names of American country music duo Henry D. Haynes (1920–1971) and Kenneth C. Burns (1920–1989), popular from the 1940s through the 1960s on radio and television for their satirical versions of popular songs. Known as the Thinking Man's Hillbillies, they received a Grammy in 1959 and are members of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Signed to the RCA Victor label in 1949, RCA's country A&R man Steve Sholes suggested they switch their comedy to singing parodies of country and pop hits. Most were penned by Burns, the humorist of the pair. Their parody of "Baby It's Cold Outside", recorded with June Carter, became a hit. The song's composer, Frank Loesser, gave them permission to parody the tune with the condition that the label read, "With apologies to Frank Loesser".

Robert “Woody” Woodbury (born February 9, 1924) is an American comedian, actor, television personality and talk show host. He is perhaps best known for his best-selling comedy albums of risqué stories, most of which were released in the early 1960s. Woodbury was among the first stand up comedians to receive a gold record.

Woodbury was a US Marine Corps fighter pilot in World War II and Korea.

Rusty Warren (born March 20, 1930)[1] is an American comedian and musician, specializing in sex-related themes.

She recorded for Jubilee Records, then GNP Crescendo Records which reissued some of her earlier Jubilee albums. Known as the Knockers Up Gal, she has frequently been called the mother of the sexual revolution. Her career began in the early 1950s in Phoenix, Arizona. Later she moved her act to Las Vegas, Nevada. Her comedy routines exposed the subject of sex from a female perspective. Her most famous contribution to the sexual revolution was the song "Knockers Up" from the 1960 album of the same name.
