Description
THE BILL DIXON ORCHESTRA - INTENTS AND PURPOSES, RCA Victor LSP-3844, original 1967 US release.
This 1967 recording features Bill Dixon (trumpet & flugelhorn), Jimmy Cheatham (bass trombone), Byard Lancaster (alto sax & bass clarinet), Robin Kenyatta (alto sax), George Marge (English horn & flute), Catherine Norris (cello), Jimmy Garrison, Reggie Workman (bass), Robert Pozar (drums), Marc Levin (percussion).
The tunes are Metamorphosis 1962-1966, Nightfall Pieces I, Voices, Nightfall Pieces II.
Condition of record is E, one very light scuff, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, no seam splits. Small stains on back, price written on back in small numbers.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.

Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
