Description

RCA Victor Dynagroove #LSP 3844 is the Bill Dixon Orchestra - Intents and Purposes - The New Sounds of the Music of Tomorrow. Personnel includes, but varies on each track:   Bill Dixon, leader, on trumpet & flugelhorn;  Jimmy Cheatham on bass trombone;  Byard Lancaster on alto sax & bass clarinet;  Robin Kenyatta on alto sax;  George Marge on english horn;  Catherine Norris on cello;  Jimmy Garrison & Reggie Workman on bass;  Robert Frank Pozar on drums & Marc Levin on percussion.

The vinyl is in EX condition, showing light scuffs from in-and-out movement and a couple of light lines. There are no spindle marks on side 2's label.  Deep groove black & silver label, stereo pressing, from 1967.  The cover is VG with some ring wear, some light corner/seam wear and radio station writing on both the front and the back. Fantastic & rare record from Mr Dixon.
