1961.....The Bill Evans Trio, ' 'Sunday At The Village Vanguard' .....considered by many to be one of the supreme jazz recordings of all time.  A truly undisputed classic of the genre much like 'Kind of Blue' by Miles Davis on which, incidentally, Bill Evans played a significant role.
Over the years words used to describe these highly regarded live performances from this album include: "Inspiring"....."Transformative"......"Sublime"....."Rapturous"...."Provocative"...."Timeless". 

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has released what is now being called the "definitive" pressing of this enormously influential album.  A 2-Lp 45-rpm box set which captures every little detail and nuance from the original stereo master tape.  Limited to only 3,000 [numbered] pressings, not surprisingly, it is already sold out.
