This is a Sealed copy of Mobile Fidelity’s Bill Evans Trio “Sunday at the Village Vanguard” Ultradisc One-Step vinyl release (No. 0282 of 3000). I won’t go into a sales pitch. If you’re reading this, you know the recording and the details; it’s 2nd in a series, limited numbered production and most importantly, the best sounding version of the recording available.
I’ll price this one for what #0281 sold. After looking at all previous sales for this recording on eBay, $300 is a bargain! Trio jazz isn’t for everyone but this recording goes beyond the music. It puts you at a prime table in the Village Vanguard on that day.
This is my last MFSL UD1S recording. No. 0281 just recently sold. I hate to see them go but they’re just collecting dust and I’m trying to thin out my collection of stuff that I’ll probably never use. I just don’t see a vinyl system worthy of these records in my near future. Those days of an audio system dominating the house are gone. Rather than leaving these discs hidden away in a box only to have my heirs later give them away, they’re just old vinyl records – who plays those anymore?, I want to offer them to someone who will hopefully spin and enjoy them.
The recording will be well packed as if it was fine art! In addition, I’ll include a 2 mil poly outer sleeve for use after it has been opened. This outer sleeve fits/protects the vinyl box perfectly.
