Description

Bill Haley & Haley's Comets 78rpm "ROCK THE JOINT / FAREWELL-SO LONG-GOODBYE" - Rare CANADIAN pressing on the "QUALITY" Label #E-303.
Keep in mind that these 78s were NOT made of Vinyl, but rather a Carbon based product which is very brittle and subject to breakage and scratching quite easily. The surface on this record is not bad for a 78 that is now 60 years old. Obviously there are surface scratches, but the A-Side (ROCK THE JOINT) is a little better than the B-Side, both of which are playable. Issued in 1952. This was one of BILL HALEY's FIRST recordings because he went by the name of BILL HALEY with HALEY'S COMETS, rather than simply "THE COMETS" or "HIS COMETS".

WE RECOMMEND INSURING THIS RECORD DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF BREAKAGE. Extremely RARE especially in this condition. A True Collectors item.
