Description
This is Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Bill Haley (together with his Comets), singing his version of the Jackie Brensten rockabilly classic "Rocket 88" as well as "Greentree Boogie" on Essex 381 from 1954. This early rockabilly record looks VG+ with moderate surface markings but plays VG++ with minor background noises. There are two picture sleeves. But picture sleeves are custom sleeves made in Canada and England and are in MINT condition. Both sleeves are one-off sleeves that were not mass produced. All of this item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeves. Price guides suggest a valuation of $150 for a NM copy of this hard-to-find Essex original. You can own this copy for a fraction of that amount and receive these beautiful custom picture sleeves with it.
