Description
Original 1955 UK `Decca` label EXPORT pressing of Bill Haley & his Comets 1st EP `Dim, Dim the lights`, with a very early UK `Brunswick` sleeve. Record No. BME 9129. 1st press GOLD label print.
Tracks: Shake, Rattle & Roll A.B.C. Boogie Happy Baby Dim, dim the lights
The Vinyl is in EX++ condition, no noticeable marks. The labels are clean & clear, with just a little fading to the gold print, mainly on side 1. Original `Tri` center is still intact. The sleeve is a Sept` 1955 print UK issue, with a repair to the missing piece in the lower right corner, of about 1" in, & 3" up (approx.). Some slight wear to the lower fold over, & discolouration on the rear.
Although some Countries that this EP was exported to, mainly, Denmark, Sweden etc, printed their own sleeves, or their own variation, some early pressings were sent with the UK `Brunswick`sleeve. The sleeve with this record is the one that was with it when I bought it.
