Description

Billie Holiday with Artie Shaw's Orchestra Any Old Time.  Bluebird record 7759 in VG+ condition.   Flip side Back Bay Shuffle instrumental Slight label fade on Any Old Time.Only record she made with Artie Shaw and His Orchestra. Billie was the premiere song stylist of the jazz/ swing era in the 1930s-40s-50s. She recorded under her own name and with bands as varied as Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Paul Whiteman, Count Basie, Teddy Wilson, etc.She set the style for jazz singing- an influence still felt today, and was influenced herself by the great Louis Armstrong Please see photos.
