For Auction: Please Read Entire Ad Before Bidding!
Billie Holiday Body And Soul on Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab Records 1995. This is a very special MFSL promo copy of Body and Soul that I was able to procure from my radio station days. The gatefold is a solid piece of cardboard with the cover printed on the front and partially off edge on the back which is typical of MFSL promos. The record does not insert into the gatefold rather MFSL provided generic white gatefolds (included with this copy) for there promos that are of the same high quality as the later album release gatefolds. The great thing about the promo pressing is the high quality and sound. Just fantastic. This is on 180-gram virgin vinyl in excellent mono format. No Catalogue # with promo copies.
Vinyl - Near Mint (Solid and Shiny!)
Gatefold - Near Mint (The album cover that came with the promo is solid, a few nicks on the corners and the white generic gatefold is solid condition)
Sound - Just Great Listening!
All my vinyl is from my personal collection and play tested on my Garrard 301 with SME 309 tonearm and ZYX Airy cartridge. I am the original owner and all my vinyl is kept in my temperature controlled audio room. No smoking and no pets!
All my vinyl are housed in sealed clear vinyl jackets to protect the gatefold and LP's are housed outside the gatefold in aftermarket paper sleeves with poly lining. Of course if original sleeves are necessary to the integrity of the album they are also kept.
I am parting with my entire collection over the next few months so please check back often! I will of course do combined shipping if a buyer wins multiple records. All records ship in new vinyl cardboard holders.
Please check my feedback and be assured I strive to make a smooth transaction. All payments expected within 12 hours of winning. No International bidders please. Please ask any questions prior to bidding and I will do my best to answer in a timely manner.
Obviously the current pandemic is a concern in any transaction. It is important to notify my buyers that no one in my household is sick and we have all been practicing social distancing (limited outings just for food) and proper household sanitation. In addition, I will wash my hands and wear latex gloves while preparing record shipments. Let's all stay safe and healthy during these times and thanks for bidding!
