Description
Billie Holiday on Verve 1946-1959, 10 LP set, Japanese Import.
This is a Japanese import.
I purchased this boxed set about 15 years ago and have never played it. (I am not a Billie Holiday fan, but knew this was a collectible set). I don't believe these records have ever been played. They appear to be in perfect condition. There's not a mark on them that I can see. Even the spindle holes have no marks. The vinyl sparkles like new. The records are also in their original inner sleeves, which appear untouched.
The book and discography insert also appear like new. No rips, tears, creases, markings, etc. The book contains articles, song lists, personnel and complete lyrics. Keep in mind...some of the text is in English and some is in Japanese.
As for the box, it shows edge wear and one corner seam is torn. (see photo) I can't explain how the original owner allowed the box to become worn while keeping the records and inside materials so pristine, but that is the case. Again, I doubt that he ever played these records.
I am committed to your complete satisfaction.
