Description
Up for auction today is this vinyl copy of the self titled album by the Billion Dollar Band. It was released in 1977 on the Good Sounds record label.
Jacket: very minor ring wear evident mostly on back, no splits, good corners with some wear, nice gloss, small scotch tape strip on front and back opening (see photos), spine is in great shape, original T.K. Productions "Palm Tree" paper sleeve included.
Vinyl: both sides are glossy with moderate paper sleeve scuff marks that did not affect sound during play grading, a small line at the beginning of song 3 on side one can be felt with a finger and produced a minor audible pop for several revolutions but did not cause a skip, minimal static heard throughout most evident between songs and during quieter moments, music features great dynamic range with crisp, up-front highs and rich full lows, very loud and punchy, great bass and fantastic horns. Any fan of the funk or disco genre would be proud to add this album to their collection. Great music!
