Description
Up for auction here is the out of print double LP by Billy Bragg & Wilco called "Mermaid Avenue". This is a collection of songs that had the lyrics written by Woody Guthrie but never set to music or recorded. This is an original pressing from 1998 on the Elektra label (62204-1) and is not a re-press of any kind. This record also comes with the original lyrics insert. The record rates a VG+, clean black glossy wax. Record 1 has a few light marks, but it plays back with no skips, pops, hiss, or any of that junk that would ruin your analog listening experience. Record 2 is in NM- condition. The sleeve is in VG+ condition, the upper left and lower right corners show some very light creasing but other than that its in great shape. Bid with confidence, check my feedback from my many satisfied vinyl customers.
the songs on this album are:
Walt Whitman's Niece
California Stars
Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key
Birds & Ships
Hoodoo Voodoo
She Came Along To Me
At My Window Sad & Lonely
Ingrid Bergman
Christ For President
I Guess I Planted
One By One
Eisler On The Go
Hesitating Beauty
Another Man's Done Gone
The Unwelcome Guest
Shipping for this LP will be $5.50 in the U.S. for Priority Mail. Insurance is optional and will cost $1.30, but I do require that all items that sell for over $40 US be insured. That way if something should happen during shipping, neither one of us gets screwed. I will ship worldwide, shipping to Canada is about the same as the U.S., to Europe it will be about 10.00 USD, but again I will require that it be sent registered mail if it sells for over 40 USD, which can cost up to 18 USD for an LP. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
