Description
The record is an original pressing of the vinyl record "I Turn You On" by Billy Martin & The Soul Jets, released in 1974 on the Onion Records. The original pressing is hard to find and therefore would be considered RARE. This 12" LP features soul and funk music in black vinyl with a NM condition and the jacket is like a NM- as it has a couple little things that are reflected in the photos. We know this is an original pressing because the labels is more of a red tone than an orange color. The label has the following printed on the bottom: Willie Sconion Record Company Distributed By: Tone Distributions 495 SE 10ct Hialeah, Fla 33010. The matrix number is LPWS1225 with an A or B for the side. This was a prominent R&B soul and funk group formed in Montreal Canada during the 1960s. They were led by Harlem born trumpeter Billy Martin, the group became a staple of the live music scene, touring the Eastern Seaboard and recording exclusively for labels like Trans-World and London Records.
