Description
Hi and thank you for viewing my auction. I am clearing out a large quantity of my vinyl collection some of which is rare and collectible.
I will aim to give an honest appraisal of the condition of each record and sleeve as well as giving a realistic opening price for auction items.
Much of the vinyl I am selling is from the 70's and 80's, including funk, disco, Tamla Motown and Soul. There will be several demos and promos amongst them, some of which may be difficult to value so you never know, you may pick a rare, collectible item at a bargain price.
Sold items will be despatched as soon as possible after purchase and proof of postage will always be obtained in case of any enquiries after sale.
Here is a rare UK single from Billy Preston - "Everything's Alright" from 1969, with "I Want To Thank You" on the flip side. This was the follow up to his brilliant "That's The Way God Planned It" also on Apple. This is an Apple demo / test pressing (Apple 19) and as such it is a collectible rarity, BUT the condition is only fair. It plays OK with a bit of vinyl pop and crackle; there is a sticker on the label, also someone has drawn a love heart with arrow which rather spoils its appearance.
The flip side is a white label with the artist/song title handwritten. For the rarity value, this is sensibly priced with a low opening bid of a fiver. A must for Apple Records fans so bid up - you may win a cheap promo! Currently housed in a poly lined cardboard sleeve, I will try and locate an Apple sleeve for this, but no promises!
Payment will be by PayPal only and I despatch to the UK only. Usual ebay rules apply - please bid to buy and thanks again for looking.
