COLLECTORS ALERT. Billy Taylor Trio "Billy Taylor Trio Volume 1" 1956 Prestige PRLP 7015 mono compilation. Identifying marks: this one has PRLP-7015-A and PRLP-7015-B etched in the runouts, but my eye cannot make out an RVG, stamped or etched. Ohhhhh, this is a NICE record! It's not just the historical attraction, but the delightful content and the fantastic condition of this copy. Sleeve is near perfection (see photos), a strong Excellent (EX). Vinyl is just as good, both visually (only under a strong light at an angle, some light scuff here and there can be found) and on playback, nearly noise free (I hear one pop in the whole experience). It has that wonderful present sound that makes you glad to be alive and listening to vinyl, an Excellent (EX) if there ever was one. Ever hear the expression "A Bargain at Any Price?" OK, nothing's that good, but by my lights this record is close. Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system. I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
