Description
Used vintage 1945 five-record set by Bing Crosby on Decca Records catalog # A-403 titled "MERRY CHRISTMAS" This is the complete folder set of five 10" 78rpm records made in USA10" Album has green spline and is in very good condition with only light storage wear; spine is completely intact and all inner brown paper sleeves have NO seam splits. The shellac records are in excellent shape, with very little signs of wear; records are: - Decca 18510: Silent Night Holy Night / Adeste Fideles (labels say sides 1 and 2)
- Decca 18429: White Christmas / Let's Start The New Year Right (labels do NOT say sides 3 and 4)
- Decca 18570: I'll Be Home For Christmas / Danny Boy (labels say sides 5 and 6)
- Decca 18511: Faith Of Our Fathers / God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (labels do NOT say sides 7 and 8)
- Decca 23281: Jingle Bells / Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (both sides with the Andrew Sisters - labels say sides 9 and 10)
All sides have been play graded with a 3 gram weighted cartridge & 3 mil diamond needle and have clear strong sound with NO cracks, edge chips, skips, ticks, or loud static from excessive play. All shellac surfaces still have lots of shine and do not look hardly used at all.
I'm not sure why two of the records do not show the side numbers (as noted above) but they are the correct songs. If you have any questions or would like more photos, please ask before bidding. I have over 40 years shipping fragile 78rpm shellac records with no problems!
