Description

Birds Birds EXTREMELY RARE FREAKBEAT  45
Say  Those Magic Words b/w Daddy Daddy
ORIGINAL 1966 Pressing NOT A REPRO
Reaction label 591005
Produced by Robert Stigwood The A-side was co-written by Doc Pomus- Mort Shuman  The B-side was co-written by a very young Ronnie Wood (Wood-Munroe)
This limited pressing was apparently deleted almost immediately after it's release, with only a few hundred copies having been sold.
This has to be one of the rarest and most sought after Freakbeat singles of all time, and also the rarest release of the label!
Not only is it a superb cover of the Pomus-Shuman classic which was originally recorded by The McCoys here in the US, but the B-side is a prime of example of British Freakbeat with fuzz-guitar and distortion co-written and also played by a very young Ronnie Wood and his band  before he joined the Faces, and later the Rolling Stones.
The late great Kim Gardener was also in this group before joining the Creation.
Amazing freak beat / mod / R&B / early psych Swingin' London sound.

Record is in VG to VG+ condition with no finger felt scratches

You are now listening to samples of both sides of this record
