Description
COVER - Gatefold. One very small triangular piece of damage to top of front cover (approx 3mm long and 2mm deep) Some minor creasing to corners of front cover. Some lifting of laminate (especially near spine) but no damage to cover. Small creases to front cover (near spine), one small crease to top corner and one crease to back cover. Inner picture of gatefold is clean and unmarked. Spine is undamaged with clear writing. No seam splits. No tears. No writing. Overall in really nice condition with no major defects and no writing or tears
INNER SLEEVE - Warning about suffocation Patent 800513 & 973939. Some age discolouration. No writing. No seam splits. Some creasing to corners
VINYL Side 1- LBL 83132 A//1 No major scratches only surface marking from putting in sleeve. Very faint smudges. Vinyl has ( in a place) a barely distinguishable ripple type pattern within it (not raised) which is only visible with back light.
Side 2- LBL 83132 B//1 No scratches. Very faint smudges
LABELS- Clean. No marks. No writing. No spindle traces
INSERTS- Not applicable
COMMENTS - A record in really good condition, considering its age. I suppose the ripple pattern was on before the pressing. I cannot recall it affecting the sound
I am in the process of selling off my personal collection of vinyl from the very early
60’s through to the 80’s. I am not a dealer but other interests (AKA - funding old age) mean the collection must go (along with lots of other stuff). My records were important to me and they were well cared for, sympathetically stored and never taken to parties or loaned out. If the record is not from my collection I will make reference to that in the comments section. Where applicable, RC criteria is used when a grading is given. I have tried to be conservative (after taking professional advice) but totally honest. Most of the records have not been played for some time (I no longer have a player) so the description is limited to a visual examination, and the vinyl would probably benefit from being cleaned in a professional manner. Any ‘deposits’ other than dust will be mentioned. If you decide to purchase one of my collection I want you to be completely satisfied and hope it will continue to give maximum enjoyment.
I have put in as much detail as is possible regarding the condition of cover, inner sleeve, labels, vinyl and inserts (where applicable) and have not described them as something they are not. However a buyer can rest assured that the records have always been kept in a pet-free and smoke-free environment
The records will be sent out in record mailers with two stiffeners. Proof of postage will always be obtained with a ‘recorded signed for’ to safeguard both of our interests
If you are in any way dissatisfied with the transaction, I would ask that you, first of all, give me the opportunity to put it right and this would include a refund if I have, in any way, misrepresented the condition of your purchase. This would be dependent on the return of the item in the condition in which it was sent and you contact me within 48 hours of receipt of item. I can not envisage this happening as I have not hyped up the condition of my records as this is of no benefit to anyone.
Items need to be paid for within 7 days of bid being accepted. If this is a problem please contact me before you bid. I will make every effort to dispatch items within 3 working days of payment being cleared (Royal Mail first class). Overseas buyers by PAYPAL only. Items over £40 will be insured and this will be added to P and P so please wait for invoice before sending payment.
